I was born in Nottingham UK 23rd Dec 1979 and started DJing when i was 17. Quite young really seeing as in the UK its impossible to even get into a night club never mind DJ in one.

Never the less a friend of mine called Andrew Patton had a brother who used to DJ a little bit and he was selling his turntables, mixer, headphones & a few records (Trance) for £50 which was a bargain. I thought they would look good in my bedroom and at £50 you cant go wrong. They stayed at the far end of my bedroom collecting dust for a few weeks until i decided to have a quick look on the internet to see exactly how your meant to mix records. So after 2 years practicing almost every evening after school a guy who was working behind a bar in a local Pub in Nottingham called the Hobgoblin offered me a set one Saturday night.

After sorting my set out and choosing the best records that suited the crowd i took to the stage and rocked it, not to blow my own trumpet but i realised that the practiced had paid off and i was almost a DJ. I say almost... because DJing is not something that you can just learn and that’s it, its something that evolves inside you.. even now every time I play I learn something new.
I came to Malta about 5 years ago. I was attending a beach party with some friends, when i was introduced to Duncan F a great young DJ who had just come back from London with DJ Drury.

They had been studying music production and sound engineering, by coincidence it just so happened that Drury had lived in the same town as me in the UK when he was a young boy and Duncan's father was an old friend of my Dad's.

The three of us hit it off straight away and became best of friends.

We all had different ideas of how we wanted to go forward in the music industry but our common goal was to create a house music promotion in Malta that would offer the best music the best crowd in the best venues. So this is where we are now working together as a team to bring you the best nights our little island has to offer. Take care & keep it real Dimbleby.
